Dedicated to the memory of Richard Ellis
This site is a tribute to Richard Ellis, born in Liverpool on March 6th, 1933. Richard died peacefully at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge surrounded by his 4 children on January 15th, 2024. He was a kind, gentle and sensitive man who charmed everyone he met. Richard leaves behind his partner, Moya, his children, Christopher, Charles, Jane and David, his grandchildren, Caitlin, Megan, Eleanor, Jamie, Tino and Paloma and his great granddaughter, Piera. He was also father-in-law to Geraldine, Isolde, Pietro and Jenny. He is much loved and will be missed by all his friends and family. The family would like to say a special thank-you to the amazing staff at Addenbrooke's hospital - especially the team on Ward G4, for their great kindness and care.

We are very grateful for your contributions to the ACT, as the staff at Addenbrooke's really were fantastic and it is nice to be able to support them in memory of Richard.

Thoughts
Bargo and l were both saddened to hear about Richard’s passing. My special memories of Richard - particularly back in the noughties - are of a lovely, humble, gentle, gentleman. And Richard and l especially enjoyed trying to unpack Aussie vernacular into legible English! Special memories. We wish we could be there to celebrate Richard’s life with you all.
